Galahad — Moment Before the Battle

This comic page was created as part of a short promotional comic for HERO WARS by Nexters.
The original plan was to animate the comic panels and edit them into a single promotional video for YouTube.

The scene was designed to show the transition between two states of Galahad — the main character fully armed and armored — and the moment when he prepares to fight barehanded against a massive monster in a new location.

The goal was to capture the tension just before the battle begins.

The arena is surrounded by multiple other game participants. They were intentionally designed not as simple background characters, but with individual poses and emotions to suggest their personalities, while still keeping them on the visual periphery so the main focus remains on the protagonist.
